Sarasota Architectural Salvage

Sarasota Architectural Salvage (SAS) was founded in 2003 with a vision of building a business that served an environmental mission to see the value in reusing and repurposing reclaimed building materials, furniture, and home decor. The SAS team finds a steady supply of rotating stock by recovering materials from buildings slated for remodeling or demolition. They work cooperatively with historical societies and preservation groups, demolition contractors and homeowners, businesses and individuals. The result is an eclectic mix of architectural antiques and furniture, décor, garden art and building materials. Items range from door knobs to chandeliers, flooring to barnwood, garden art to wall art, furniture found, restored, and shabby painted - sourced locally, domestically and internationally. The company also offers custom wood and iron furniture fabricated from salvaged materials. The owner, Jesse White, is a noted philanthropist directing thousands of dollars to non-profit organizations, accepting consignments on behalf of local non-profits, and providing numerous in-kind donations.
